Project Newport

Scope: 6 AHU controls swamp out, 6 VAV's off one AHU, including a large gym space.

Programming

Summary: This was my first project I was given to execute from the beginning through the end. This was also an out of town project with a tight budget. Overall the project went smooth for my first project and the customer was excited to get a new front end they could actually use. AHU's 1-5 had a shared return air plenum, and no air handler has any cooling capacity. The building also had about a dozen mechanical deficiencies that had to be repaired or explained. This projected ended with a service contract for the mechanical units, and additional owner direct scope.
